NLM say power will come to son of nobody; as Kuje residents embrace it will high enthusiasm

He reiterates this while addressing aspiring NLM members Saturday, February 8th, 2025 in the Kuje Area Council, Abuja.
Hon Yunusa said, “It is a national intervention for emerging new breed of leadership. NLM has come to foster the spirit of unity, prosperity and accountability. That is what NLM has come to do”
“Nigeria Liberty Movement is going to show you what is called politics unusual. It is going to change the entire political platform into what you have not seen before”
“I want to explain again that Nigeria Liberty Movement has come to express and change the political platform of the entire Nigeria into what Nigerians has never imagine it would happen before”
“What I want to let you know now is that begin to have ambition that yes you are going to take leadership.”
“Nigeria Liberty movement is a movement that would take a son of nobody to become somebody without knowing anybody”
Kuje residents and indigene welcomes NLM with great enthusiasm.
A community leader, Elder Nyiekaa Williams said that NLM is a welcoming development.
Elder Williams said, “I am happy as I have always advocate for this kind of thing in Nigeria, in kuje here, we are not going to query anybody, and we are not going to fight anybody.
But our actions and project on ground will make you believe that these are serious people”
“So, like you said, we are going to call you back here, so that you will know that this assignment you are given us we did or not.”
“We are still going to call you and when you come next time you will know whether this movement have really started”
“and so I was going through some materials by the virtue of a student of Peace and Conflict Resolution, I was able to go through so many borrowed courses where you saw movement that started with a less than 10 person, but they became a political parties, they became movement that were able to even grab Nigeria independence from the British”.
“So, thank you for coming, God will take you home safely and we are going to deliver Kuje for you. You will be surprised”
Mrs Iwuagwu Prisca , The women leader, NLM, Kuje Rea Council also lend a supportive voice while calling for caution.
She said that, “you make sure that you carry the women along, because it is only women that vote”.
“We vote, at the end you keep us aside, but we can never leave to vote because we are doing it for our children. We are doing to it to make sure that our nation, our country is okay, because any country that is okay, the women will enjoy, the children will also enjoy”, he continued.
The enthusiasm and expectations expressed by the Kuje Area Council members of NLM shows that NLM will be a formidable force there to reckon with in the nearest future.

NLM National Director, Mobilization and Contact douses mounting tension as Bwari NLM holds maiden meeting

The National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Honourable Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa says every members including the executive members of Bwari Area Council should remain calm and focused as every matter of concerns will be settled
This is contained in a statement released in Abuja by Prince Comrade Abdulrahman Obaje, Special Assistant, Communication and Public Relation, Office of the National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Sunday, February 2nd, 2025.
There are several complaints maladministration coming from disgruntled members of the Bwari Area Council NLM Excos stemming from the just concluded maiden meeting of the NLM, Bwari Chapter, Saturday, January 1st, 2025.
While others said that nobody should take the credit of the Bwari area council meeting held yesterday except the Bwari chairman that did the magic and Madam, Mrs Gladys Azokor, and the Excos of Bwari NLM
An Exco that wants to remain anonymity voiced his concerns in a telephone chat, saying that, “Some of us were even stranded as they came from far places to join the meeting and even a high ranking officer that was present went away with the attendance list which he promised to snap and return to us.
Honourable Yunusa while commending the efforts of the executives and members of the Bwari Area Council, and the success of the meeting said that he would have been at the Bwari meeting along with his entourage, however we have to also be at Nasarawa State, to settle the structural formation of Nasarawa State, NLM which was on the list of non-powering state.
The capacity leader which was given the mandate of monitoring all the activities of State, Local Government and ward chapters of NLM promises to closely monitor the activities of Bwari Area Council to ensure that every stakeholder is treated with fairness and justice. He particularly said that their concerns will be addressed within two weeks
He further revealed that if we want to build a strong society that would stand the test of time, we must not build it on unfairness as every stakeholders must be treated with fairness. And more so, that the Mission and Vision of NLM include fostering freedom, justice and prosperity, we shall always strive to uphold same.
He further call on the Bwari and all other chapters’ executives to continue with the good work of grassroots mobilization and awareness campaign as their activities will not go unnoticed.

NLM family mobilizers to receive salary, as we are committed to grassroots politics unusual – Hon Suleiman Yunusa

The National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Honourable Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa reiterated this politics unusual while addressing the Nasarawa State chapter of NLM during their structural formation and maiden edition of state executive meeting at Akwanga, Saturday, February 1st. 2025.
Hon Yunusa said, “Nigeria Liberty Movement is especially concerned with the grassroots”.
While buttressing his point, he said, “I want to let us know that yes, it is those that are in the grassroots that are neglected, and that have been shortchanged”
“That it is when everything concerning the federal, and the state have been concluded before they hear with their ears and by the time they hear it, before it come to them it has finished,”
“Nigeria Liberty Movement is not a movement or a political party that will come and say it is those at the top that will have first”
“That is why one of the empowerment from the Nigeria Liberty Movement is the family mobilizers”.
“Those who would go from door to door to mobilize people”.
“Do you know what Nigeria Liberty Movement is going to do to them?”
“I want to shock you that it has never happened in Nigeria before. They are going to be paid monthly salary for going from one place to another for mobilizing families”
“I want to also tell you something”, he continued.
“The ward coordinators, your own is to get 715 people behind you as a ward coordinator, and you have your ten executives who are the family mobilizers. As a ward coordinator, you are not going to spend your one naira, automatically, the ticket of councillorship will be given to you and sponsored by Nigeria Liberty Movement”. He continued.

Structural Formattion: NLM charges National Director Mobilization and Contact to investigate lists

Nigeria Liberty Movement has reiterated its commitment to sanitizing its system of ghost and inactive members especially in the leadership hierarchy.
This form the crux of the meeting between the National Chairman, Ambassador Thompson Mishak and the National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Honourable Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa and his mobilization team. googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js">
Amb. Mishak reiterating his commitment to a workable system and the progress of NLM charges Honourable Yunusa to ensure that the system is investigated to uncover ghost or inactive members in the submitted structural formation list.
During the strategic mobilization and state structural formation investigation meeting, Amb. Mishak expresses concerns that though some states have actually submitted verifiable structure, but same cannot be said about other states.
He said “I have passed some states that are critically lagging behind to the National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Alhaji Yunusa and it is my priority and his responsibility to see that proper structural formation is obtained from those states”.
He further said, “There is need to continually audit and verify our structure to ensure that the system is rid of inactive or sleeping members especially in the leadership hierarchy and down to the family mobilisers”.
In a related meeting with his mobilization team, the National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Honourable Suleiman Yunusa had also cautions NLM members and the general public to desist from paying money to individuals in the name of NLM.
He said that NLM does not collect money from anybody and any person that pay money to another in the name of NLM does so at his/her own desire and risk.
He concluded that NLM stands for liberty and if anybody is being charged or extorted in the name of NLM, then the motive behind NLM is being defeated.
