NLM say power will come to son of nobody; as Kuje residents embrace it will high enthusiasm

Honourable Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa, National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Nigeria Liberty Movement, NLM says that NLM would take a son of nobody to become somebody without knowing anybody. adsbygoogle || []).push({});

He reiterates this while addressing aspiring NLM members Saturday, February 8th, 2025 in the Kuje Area Council, Abuja.

Hon Yunusa said, “It is a national intervention for emerging new breed of leadership. NLM has come to foster the spirit of unity, prosperity and accountability. That is what NLM has come to do”

“Nigeria Liberty Movement is going to show you what is called politics unusual. It is going to change the entire political platform into what you have not seen before”

“I want to explain again that Nigeria Liberty Movement has come to express and change the political platform of the entire Nigeria into what Nigerians has never imagine it would happen before”

“What I want to let you know now is that begin to have ambition that yes you are going to take leadership.”

Kuje residents and indigene welcomes NLM with great enthusiasm.

A community leader, Elder Nyiekaa Williams said that NLM is a welcoming development.

Elder Williams said, “I am happy as I have always advocate for this kind of thing in Nigeria, in kuje here, we are not going to query anybody, and we are not going to fight anybody.

But our actions and project on ground will make you believe that these are serious people”

“So, like you said, we are going to call you back here, so that you will know that this assignment you are given us we did or not.”

“We are still going to call you and when you come next time you will know whether this movement have really started”

“and so I was going through some materials by the virtue of a student of Peace and Conflict Resolution, I was able to go through so many borrowed courses where you saw movement that started with a less than 10 person, but they became a political parties, they became movement that were able to even grab Nigeria independence from the British”.

“So, thank you for coming, God will take you home safely and we are going to deliver Kuje for you. You will be surprised”

Mrs Iwuagwu Prisca , The women leader, NLM, Kuje Rea Council also lend a supportive voice while calling for caution.

She said that, “you make sure that you carry the women along, because it is only women that vote”.

“We vote, at the end you keep us aside, but we can never leave to vote because we are doing it for our children. We are doing to it to make sure that our nation, our country is okay, because any country that is okay, the women will enjoy, the children will also enjoy”, he continued.

The enthusiasm and expectations expressed by the Kuje Area Council members of NLM shows that NLM will be a formidable force there to reckon with in the nearest future.

The Nigeria Liberty Movement, NLM has officially confirms the appointment of its National Director, Mobilization and Contact, Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa.

The taking of oats of office which takes place at the National Headquarter of the party in Abuja, Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, shortly before the official merger of Allied Peoples Party, APM and NLM saw NEC and party big wigs in attendance.

During the ceremony, the National Chairman, NLM, Ambassador Thompson Mesach said the capacity leader has demonstrated his capacity in the area of grassroots mobilization, and so merit the confirmation calling for more commitment and dedication to the success of NLM.

In his acceptance, Alhaji Suleiman Yunusa said this is a call for action as he will continue to do what he has been known for, which is grassroots mobilization.

He most especially thanks the National Leader, Nigerian Liberty Movements, NLM, Ambassador Moses O. Adebisi, PhD, (aka THISDAYSMOSES, AL MUSA) the National Chairman, Ambassador Thompson Mesach and other National Executive Members for the recognition of his contributions to the growth of NLM.

A Capacity Leader that has been in the forefront of grass root mobilization for NLM made this statement during an official merger and release of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC certificate by APM to NLM in Abuja, today Tuesday, May 13th, 2025.

Yunusa while commending the wisdom of the leadership and stakeholders of APM to merge with NLM said, “as the historic event of today has put the necessary power in the hands of NLM to fully partake and participate in any future political activities in Nigeria, we now need to put NLM ideology of creating a new breed of leadership to full motion and be in a continual collaborative synergy that will see to the empowerment of the down trodden.”

Hon Yunua thereby calls for continued supports and commitments of its mobilization team members, stakeholders and well-wishers across the country to go all out for grass root mobilization as this is a national call to action.

He also said, “I thank the Founder and the incumbent Chairman of the Allied Peoples Party, APM, Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Bagana, for his leadership and wisdom in merging with Nigeria Liberty Movement, NLM.”

“I also thank the National Chairman, Ambassador mesach Thompson, the National Director, Coalition, HRH, Ogah Attah Alhaji Tijani Musa and the National Director of Operation, Otunba Kingsly Adejumo for your sagacity and doggedness in seeing that the merger is a success”.

“I also each and everyone here that leave whatever you are doing and be here today to witness this epoch making event as it unfolds.”, he continued.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Bagana, Founder and the incumbent Chairman of the Allied Peoples Party, APM said it is time to focus and dump any selfish interest now that the merger has put the necessary political power in the hands of NLM.

Bagana that is ably represented by APM National Organising Secretary/Personal Assistant to The Chairman, APM, Pastor Frank Oluwa said, “we are now full members of NLM and we ceased to operate as APM and I am saying this with full authority in the power vested on me.”

“I have the full authority to speak here today on behalf of the National Chairman and I am ably representing him here today. And if you are in doubt, you can put a call across to him and confirm it that this what somebody is saying now.”

He further admonished the leadership of Nigeria Liberty Movement to make a judicious use of the merger as the certificate is released to NLM on a platter of Gold.

The Nigeria Liberty Movement, NLM has officially merged with the Allied Peoples Party, APM to operate under the aegis of Nigeria Liberty Movement, NLM.

In a handing over APM Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Certificate ceremony that takes place at the National Headquarter of the Nigeria Liberty Movement in Abuja, Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, stakeholders and parties big wigs show enthusiasm and expressed optism that the merger will bore good fruits.

Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Bagana, Founder and the incumbent Chairman of the Allied Peoples Party, APM while handing over APM Certificate to NLM said it is time to be focus and dump any selfish interest now that the merger has put the necessary political power in the hands of NLM.

Bagana that is ably represented by APM National Organising Secretary/Personal Assistant to The Chairman, APM, Pastor Frank Oluwa said, “we are now full members of NLM and we ceased to operate as APM and I am saying this with full authority in the power vested on me.”

In his acceptance speech, the National Chairman, NLM, Ambassador Thompson Mesach said, “It is with profound humility and a deep sense of responsibilities that I Ambassador Mesach Thompson, the National Chairman of Nigeria Liberty Movement, a platform for emerging new breed of leadership in Nigeria stand before you today to formally accept this historic handing over of the Allied Peoples Party structure, asset and certificate of registration, a moment of national significance.”.

“Alhaji Bagana’s commitment has not only chronicled Nigeria’s turbulent political journey but also underscore an urgent need for a new direction.”

“For too long our nation has been held back by a systemic failure, recycled leadership and a deficit of visionary government.”

“Today’s merger is not merely an alliance with a political entities, it is a fusion of ideals, a collective place to rescue Nigeria from the brinks, and rebuilt it with a pillar of competence, integrity and transformation leadership.”

“Why does this union matters? The APM’s decision to entrust its legacy to the NLM is a testament to two undeniably truth.”

“Number one, NLM’s vision resonate with the aspiration of the Nigerian people. A vision crafted by patriots. Intellectuals and Diasporas professionals committed to injecting global best practices into our governance”

“Number two, a time for fragmented opposition is over. Let them note that this merger symbolizes a united front against stagnation, empowering to challenge the status quo with a credible, viable and inclusivity.

Thompson further said, ”Our covenant with the Nigerian people as we accept this mandate, NLM hereby upholds its mission to implement an emergency national intervention that addresses insecurity, economic and institutional decay.”

”To prioritise citizen self-actualisation through education, arts and skill and opportunity for all to pursue focus full national development, transparency, innovation and equitable for all.”, he continued
