He said, ‘To My Beloved Comrades and Patriots of the Nigerian Liberty Movements (NLM) Worldwide”
“As I sit to pen these words, my heart swells with immeasurable gratitude, not just for the personal celebration of my birthday, but for the collective triumph we marked—the one-year anniversary of the Nigerian Liberty Movements (NLM). Yesterday was not merely a day of joy; it was a reaffirmation of the purpose we share, the battle we fight, and the future we envision for Nigeria and its people.
“The overwhelming show of love, unity, and unwavering support from every corner of the world reminded me of the sacred duty we have taken upon ourselves—to restore to our people the dignity that has long been stolen, to break the chains of a system designed to suppress, and to light a path toward true national rebirth. Your messages, your calls, and your relentless reaffirmation of our cause have reinforced my belief that we are not just a movement; we are a force of destiny.
“The Journey of NLM: A Testament to Our Collective Will.
“One year ago, we came together not to form another political group, not to add to the chorus of empty voices, but to be a catalyst for real and lasting change. We did not merely launch a movement—we sounded a clarion call that the days of complacency are over. We declared that Nigeria shall no longer be a playground for mediocrity, that governance shall no longer be the private business of a select few, and that liberty shall no longer be an abstract dream but a living reality for all.
“In this past year, we have faced opposition from those who benefit from Nigeria’s broken system. We have been challenged, ridiculed, and threatened. But here we stand, stronger than ever, growing in numbers, deepening in resolve, and moving closer to the day when true liberty will take its rightful place in our land.
“The Significance of Liberty Day: The Dawn of a New Era.
“Yesterday’s celebration was not just about my birth; it was about the birth of an idea that has begun to take root in the consciousness of millions. As we move toward the formal declaration of Liberty Day, we recognize that this is more than just a symbolic event. It is the pronouncement of a new covenant with the Nigerian people—a day that will mark the irreversible break from the shackles of oppression.
“For too long, Nigeria has been trapped in a cycle where leadership is not about service but about plundering. We have watched the rise of rulers, not leaders—men and women who see governance as an entitlement, not a responsibility. This has been our reality for decades, but Liberty Day will stand as a declaration that a new order is here, an order built on accountability, justice, and a leadership that truly belongs to the people.
“My Gratitude As The Torchbearers of This Revolution to You as The Missionaries.
“I cannot express enough appreciation to every single one of you—our members, supporters, and allies who have given your time, energy, and resources to this cause. You are the true heroes of this movement. Some of you have risked your safety, some have sacrificed your personal comfort, and many of you continue to dedicate yourselves selflessly, not for personal gain but for the hope of a liberated nation.
“To our comrades in Nigeria, who bear the brunt of the failed system daily, your resilience is inspiring. You endure hardships not because you accept them, but because you have chosen to fight for something greater than yourselves. To our members in the diaspora, who continue to champion this cause from foreign lands, your voices echo across borders, reminding the world that Nigeria is not without men and women of honor.
“Yesterday’s outpouring of love was not just for me—it was for us, for the ideals we stand for, for the dream we refuse to let die. I am humbled, I am strengthened, and I am more determined than ever because I do not walk alone. We walk together, hand in hand, unyielding and unstoppable.
A Call to Action: The Road Ahead
“My dear comrades, our journey has just begun. One year is a milestone, but it is not the destination. There is much more to be done. The forces of oppression will not yield easily; they will fight with everything they have. But history has shown that no tyranny lasts forever. The will of the people, once awakened, cannot be subdued.
“Let this anniversary serve as a reminder that we are not here to merely exist—we are here to transform. Let our commitment deepen, our strategy sharpen, and our resolve be unbreakable. The battles ahead will require more from us—more courage, more sacrifice, more unity. But make no mistake: we are closer than ever to the tipping point.
“One day soon, we will look back at this moment, not as a mere memory, but as the beginning of Nigeria’s true independence. We shall tell our children that we stood when others bowed, that we fought when others surrendered, and that we prevailed when many doubted.
“Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for standing for the aggrieved members of Nigerian society.
Thank you for believing in Liberty.
“The movement continues. The victory is inevitable.
*With all my love and unwavering commitment.
He concluded.
